About Steve Jeffries

Steve has been on stage ever since he was 12 years old (playing in his father's band), so entertaining and performing comes very naturally to him. It's in his blood! Since then he has become a freelance professional musician in his own right, as a drummer and more recently as a guitar vocalist.

Since 1999 Steve has been playing professionally with his solo act, performing all over the world. He sings something for everyone, with a vast repertoire from the 50s, right up to the present day. Steve makes sure that he always plays to his audience and has so much material that every night is different! So it's not surprising that it doesn't take long for the audience to start dancing and singing along.

Steve's trademark unique drum solos will bring down the house! (Please see video clip). N.B. for smaller venues, Steve's drums are on a portable stand and take up little room.

Being very versatile, Steve often plays in restaurants, providing background music to add atmosphere to eating venues. He can play any type of venue and tailor his act to best fit in with your requirements.

Rock musician Steve Jeffries struck an odd note with his neighbours when he decided to record a CD of classic tracks.
The performer and singer decided to capture the authentic sound of real engine revs for a cover version of the Steppenwolf anthem Born To Be Wild – featured on the soundtrack of cult 1969 film Easy Rider....
